Classic Thomas Pesendorfer Designed coin
Thomas Pesendorfer, the now-retired chief Engraver at the Austrian Mint designed this as a gold issue in 1989. The design remains constant every year. The obverse features a pipe organ from the world-famous Musikverein concert hall located in Vienna. This is the home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The reverse features an array of orchestral instruments including the harp, violin, cello, flute, bassoon and French horn.
