The coin motive depicts the African Wildlife Elephant design from 2020, which shows the heads of two African elephants in the African steppe. At the edge of the coin are the inscriptions 'AFRICAN WILDLIFE' and 'ELEPHANT', '1 oz' and the fineness 'Ag 999.9'. The reverse features the Somalian state coat of arms, which depicts a shield with a star, which is supported by two leopards. Below this symbol are two traditional spears and two palm leaves and the inscriptions 'SOMALI REPUBLIC 2020 100 SHILLINGS'.
