The dragon vase dates back to the Qianlong period. It was owned by the last Chinese royal family. It is decorated with a porcelain insert in the shape of a vase that creates a unique masterpiece. This insert clearly reproduces the original look of the vase and contains an intricate dragon motif. The sides are densely painted with 6 meticulously rendered five-clawed dragons portrayed emerging from crashing waves and flying amid stylized clouds and flames.
