This fox with the Latin name "Vulpes Zerda" ist the smallest canid in the world andit is a nocturnal fox. The shown characteristic satellite-dish ears help the fox hunt at night—it can hear prey moving underground—and keep cool. The eyes are large and dark, with dark streaks extending from the inner eye down and outward to either side of muzzle.
