This Spectacular Silver Coin is the third release in THE GANGSTERS Serie dedicated to JOHN DILLINGER. John Dillinger, one of the most famous bank robbers from America who was born in 1903 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Dillinger's gangs robbed more than twenty banks and four police stations.
He was accused of the murder of a police officer in East Chicago, but was never convicted. More than a dozen people were killed during robberies involving police officers, federal agents and civilians too.

The obverse portraits John Dillinger holding a machine gun and a terrified group of civilians fleeing the bank in panic. In the background you can see the bank building that was robbed by the Dillinger's gang. As on previous coins from the series, also here you can see a hole with jagged edges after a bullet hit in the bottom right corner of the coin
The reverse of the coin remains the same for all coins in the series (apart from the year of issue that changes) and shows an eight chambered revolver barrel with four 9mm caliber bullets. Each of the bullets have been gilded with 24 karat gold.
