Reverse: Features an adult Leopard lying in a tree branch. One of the front paws is dangling below the brand while the other paw sits atop the branch. The head is resting on part of a branch, which is at an angle from the tree. In the background you see the local trees and birds of Africa.
Obverse: Displays the Somalian Coat of Arms and the date along with the face value of 100 shillings.
