The reverse of the coin depicts an amazing Gold-plated Little John, standing vigilantly among the greenery of Sherwood Forest, looking furtively through the trees, with a bow and quiver of arrows on her back, ready for action. All around the reverse are the inscriptions: LITTLE JOHN – the name of the coin, 1 OZ - the weight of the coin, FINE SILVER 999 - the fineness of Silver and 2022 - the year of issue.
The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: 2 POUNDS - the face value, ELIZABETH II - the name of the Queen and D G-REG-F-D - the Latin acronym.
