The Perth Mint is excited to release the first coin in our new Looney Tunes series, featuring BUGS BUNNY.
One of the iconic characters of the golden age of American animation, BUGS BUNNY shot to fame after starring in Looney Tunes and later Merrie Melodies short films.
His immense popularity earned BUGS BUNNY the role of official mascot for Warner Bros. Entertainment and the wise-cracking grey and white trickster even has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The reverse of the coin features BUGS BUNNY reclining with a carrot and the Looney Tunes vector logo in the background. The design also
includes the BUGS BUNNY inscription and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.
The Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2018 year-date and the monetary denomination are depicted on the
coin’s obverse.
Each coin is presented in a clear acrylic case, allowing both sides of the coin to be displayed, and is packaged within a themed shipper. The coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
