This beautiful Peace & Love coin is part of the exceptional Cannabis Sativaseries.
Cannabis has long been used for fibre (hemp), for medicinal purposes, and as a recreational drug. Industrial hemp products are made from Cannabis plants selected to produce an abundance of fiber and minimal levels of THC, a psychoactive molecule that produces the "high" associated with marijuana.
The reverse of the coin depicts the typical green Cannabis Sativa leaf, with a lovely coloration with Peace sign. The coin has a special form, is concave, with high relief and a Proof quality. On the top of the coin, the inscriptions: "Cannabis Sativa" and “2019” – year of issue. The coin's obverse depicts the Coat of Arms of Benin and the face value – “1000 Francs”.
