The Polar Bear (Ursus maritimus) is the largest land-dwelling carnivore on Earth and inhabits only the northern polar regions. It reaches a weight of up to 300 kg and is characterized by its very dense, white-yellow fur, which is underlaid by a thick layer of fat. Also noteworthy is the polar bear's keen sense of smell, which helps the predator track its prey even under a layer of ice. The Canada's Wildlife - Polar Bear Maple Leaf coin in color is delivered in a protective capsule including an illustrated product card.
