Product Description
The 2021 Wedge-Tailed Eagle bullion coin was struck by the Perth Mint from one ounce of 99.99% pure silver. The coin was first issued in 2014 and has since enjoyed great popularity among investors and collectors. It was the first collaboration of a US Mint engraver with a foreign mint. The design by John Mercanti depicts a Wedge-Tailed Eagle - Australia's largest bird of prey - in flight. In its claws it holds a snake it has just captured. The motive is framed by the inscriptions "AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE" and "2021 1oz 9999 SILVER". The traditional mintmark "P" of the Perth Mint is also included in the design. The reverse shows the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the denomination. The Wedge-Tailed Eagle silver bullion coin is delivered in a protective capsule.
