The Canadian wolf (Canis lupus hudsonicus) is powerfully built and can reach a weight of up to 60 kilos. Its bushy coat is almost white in winter, otherwise light gray to creamy. The Canadian wolf is located in packs to the west and north of Hudson Bay. It inhabits grassland, deciduous and mixed forest as well as cold steppes.
