Product Description
This beautiful coin is depict a Shiba Inu dog logo on the obverse. Dogecoin has what is arguably the most lovable logo of any form of crypto currency. When Billy Markus first contemplated creating a crypto currency, he actually bought the online domain of Dogecoin.com before the currency existed. Inspired by a Doge meme from early 2013 featuring a Shiba Inu, he selected the Shiba Inu as the initial logo and website landing page imagery for Dogecoin. From there, Dogecoin has grown in popularity and use in a manner that its creator did not really foresee.
On the obverse of Dogecoin Copper Rounds, you will find the happy face of a Shiba Inu. This medium-sized breed of hunting dog native to Japan was popular in the Doge memes of early 2013. In these various memes, the ever-changing, happy face of the Shiba Inu was featured along with phrases and words that represented the inner dog monologue of the creature. The theme has stuck and has even been adopted in the design of Dogecoin Copper Rounds.
The reverse side of 1 oz Dogecoin Copper Rounds depicts the popular crypto currency background design used in countless collections. First used in 2011 on the first-ever Bitcoin round, this design replicates the appearance of a microchip and is meant to reflect the virtual existence of all forms of crypto currency.

Bitcoin may be the dominant player in the crypto currency market, but there are a variety of other options out there. By far the most unique, in its approach and its goals, is Dogecoin. Created as a joke in 2013, it remains today as one of the more popular altcoins in the market and has experienced a dramatic surge in 2021.
