MIRROR SNAKE – MASSIVE 65mm 1oz SILVER PROOF COIN from ‘Mirror’ Lunar series
We are delighted to present this amazing Tokelau’s ‘Mirror Snake’ coin in celebration of the Year of the Snake. This astounding 65mm 1oz pure silver coin features a classic image of a Snake curiously looking at a mirror image of itself. The coin is created in proof condition, with the Snake on one side sculpted proof with a highly polished proof table, the other side with a frosted table and polished Snake.
Snake personalities are romantic, decent and sophisticated, and also eloquent, which makes them humorous
The reverse of the coin shows a snake, mirrored on the two halves of the coin, recalling the Chinese philosophy of the Yin and Yang, complementary forces that interact to form a dynamic system in which the whole is greater than the assembled parts. At the top of the reverse, the inscription: “YEAR OF THE SNAKE” – the name of the Chinese Lunar Year represented. At the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: “2025” – the issuing year.
On the obverse the Effigy of King Charles, along with the inscriptions: CHARLES III - the name of the King, TOKELAU - the issuing country, “2025” – the issuing year, 1 OZ .999 SIL
