The obverse is very similar to that of all other British Silver Coins. It features Queen Elizabeth’s right-facing profile set against a diamond-like background pattern. Surrounding her are the words “ELIZABETH II”, “D.G REG. F. D.”, & “5 POUNDS”.
 - The reverse of the coin features its namesake: the White Horse of Hanover with a shield displayed in front of the horse. The shield is split into four sections. The first shows the leopards of England and the lion of Scotland in the top-left, the fleur-de-lis of France in the top-right, the Irish harp in the bottom-left, and the bottom-right shows the Arms of Hanover. Around the central design are the coin’s name: “WHITE HORSE OF HANOVER” and the specifications of “2oz FINE SILVER”, “999.9” & the year of “2020”.
