This exciting new antiqued coin depicts Thanos, the lead villain in the 2018 hit movie Avengers: Infinity War. Thanos is a fictional supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character, created by writer/artist Jim Starlin, first appeared in The Invincible Iron Man #55
The reverse of the coin features a vibrantly coloured design of Thanos clenching his fist to show his Infinity Gauntlet including the six highly prized ‘soul gems’ or ‘Infinity gems’. The inscription ‘MARVEL AVENGERS INFINITY WAR’ are incorporated into the design.
The coin features an antiqued finish, conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artifact.
