The reverse of the coin features a vibrant female skull adorned with traditional Dia de los Muertos face paint, including colorful floral and geometric designs, symbolizing the celebration of the Day of the Dead. The obverse of the coin depicts another intricately designed female skull with blue and purple face paint, surrounded by pink and purple roses. On the obverse, the inscriptions: 1 ONZA PLATA PURA – the weight of the Silver, 2023 – the year of issue, and LEY .999 – the fineness of the Silver.
