The Giant Panda lives in small areas of certain provinces of China. These areas are rich in bamboo, which is an important source of food for the Panda. Bamboo forests also offer the pandas a place to sleep.
WWF's Central Africa Programme, headquartered in Cameroon, was founded in 1990. It is focused on the Congo basin and provides support to WWF's offices and projects in Cameroon, Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Gabon.
