This intrigue silver coin is is the third release in the “Fear Tales” series, dedicated to alternative endings to fairy tales. In this edition – Hansel and Gretel. Hansel and Gretel are a brother and sister abandoned in a forest, where they fall into the hands of a witch who lives in a house made of gingerbread, cake, and pastries. The cannibalistic witch intends to fatten the children before eventually eating them, but Gretel outwits the witch and kills her. The two children then escape with their lives and return home with the witch's treasure.

The reverse of the coin shows Hansel and Gretel holding candies. Upon them, the wicked witch, portrayed with red evil eyes, and the inscription “FEAR TALES” – the name of the series. On the right, the iconic gingerbread house and the inscription: “2021” - the year issue. The obverse of the coin depicts a deep and dark forest, the Coat of Arms of Palau and the inscriptions: “REPUBLIC OF PALAU” – the issuing country, “10$” – the face value and “SADLY EVER AFTER”.
