The reverse of the coin features Ragnar Lothbrok, the legendary figure in Nordic history and mythology, believed to have been a semi-legendary Viking chieftain who lived during the 9th century. Ragnar Lothbrok's sagas and tales have made him one of the most iconic figures in Nordic folklore!
On the obverse, the Viking geometry inhabits the whole design and also influences the style of the engravings: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the country of issue, "2024" – the year of issue, "2 oz" – the weight of the coin, "2000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value and "Ag 999" – the fineness of the Silver.
