Saturn is a gas planet - mainly consisting of hydrogen and helium - and the 6th planet of our solar system. The most striking feature of the giant planet is its strongly pronounced ring system, which consists of countless chunks of rock and ice, as well as dust and small stones. Saturn needs only 10 hours and 14 minutes for one turn around its own axis - to circle the sun, however, almost 30 years are necessary. Saturn is surrounded by numerous moons - until today 82 satellites could be counted. The moons Titan, Rhea & Enceladus belong to the most famous satellites of Saturn.
